SPIR@L

Innovative new standard in printing

About SPIR@L

SPIR@L, the new and patented print screening technology, provides a crystal-clear image every time, without effort and with significant ink savings.

SPIR@L allows you to hold a 1-99% dot, guarantees vibrant colors and reduces the ink consumption. The result is a striking image quality with reduced image slur. This technology is also economic, because SPIR@L requires zero upgrades for your CTP or your printing press.

Main Benefits

Achieves picture-perfect details at any image size.

7-15% ink savings in addition to the GCR ink saving software.

Eliminates imperfections such as image slur.

Increases printing speed.

Compatible with both heat-set and cold-set printers.

Technology

SPIR@L starts with a modified minimum ink dot applied in a specific and patented spiral shape. Owing to its smooth transition from positive to negative spirals and minimum white gap, the end result is always a high-quality image in vibrant colors. Set up SPIR@L according to your preferences. Depending on the press and the paper used, you can select different curves and groove area thicknesses, to achieve the highest possible quality print, at the lowest possible cost.

License

SPIR@L is only available as a partnership license on NewsWayX NWRIP.
